By accessing or using InvoiceSnapp (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
InvoiceSnapp is a web-based invoice generation tool that allows users to:
- Create professional PDF invoices
- Store client information
- Track payment status
- Customize invoice templates and branding
The Service is provided "as-is" for the purpose of invoice creation and management. We do not provide accounting, legal, tax, or financial advice.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
3.2 Geographic Restrictions
The Service is not available to users in the following countries:
- Countries subject to international sanctions (including but not limited to: Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Crimea region)
- Russia
If you are located in a restricted territory, you may not create an account or use the Service.
3.3 Legal Capacity
You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
4. Account Registration and Security
4.1 Account Creation
To use the Service, you must:
- Provide a valid email address
- Create a secure password
- Verify your email address
- Provide accurate business information
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
4.3 Prohibited Actions
You may NOT:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
4.4 Account Termination by User
You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Upon deletion:
- Your data will be retained for 30 days (grace period)
- After 30 days, all data will be permanently deleted
- You can reactivate your account within the 30-day grace period by logging in
5. Subscription Plans and Pricing
5.1 Free Tier
- Includes: 5 invoice creations (lifetime limit)
- Restrictions: Platform branding included on invoices ("Created with InvoiceSnapp"), no logo upload, no custom branding
- No Credit Card Required
5.2 Paid Subscription Plans
Starter Plan:
- Price: $8 USD per month (monthly billing only)
- Includes: 30 invoices per month, custom logo upload, no platform branding, email support (up to 2 weeks response time)
- Does NOT include: Color customization (uses default template colors)
Pro Plan:
- Price: $12 USD per month (monthly billing only)
- Includes: Unlimited invoices per month, custom logo upload, advanced color scheme customization (primary + secondary colors), no platform branding, payment reminder notifications, priority email support (up to 1 week response time)
5.3 Billing
- Billing Currency: All prices are in USD
- Billing Frequency: Monthly only (billed on the same day each month)
- Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely via Stripe
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew monthly on your subscription anniversary date
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
5.4 Invoice Limits
- Starter Plan: Limited to 30 finalized invoices per month. Limit resets on your monthly subscription renewal date.
- Pro Plan: Unlimited finalized invoices
- Draft invoices do NOT count toward your monthly limit
- Deleted invoices do NOT count toward your monthly limit
- If you reach your Starter plan limit, you must upgrade to Pro (unlimited) or wait until the next billing period
5.5 Failed Payments
If a subscription payment fails:
- Your subscription will be suspended immediately
- You will retain read-only access to existing invoices but cannot create new ones
- You will receive an email notification to update your payment method
- Your account will remain suspended until payment is received
- If payment is not received within 30 days, your account may be permanently deleted
6. Refund Policy
6.1 No Refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for any reason, including:
- Unused portion of subscription
- Change of mind
- Lack of use
- Dissatisfaction with the Service
6.2 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Navigating to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current monthly billing period
- You will retain full access to the Service until the end of the paid month
- No refund will be issued for the remaining days in the month
6.3 Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds in exceptional circumstances such as:
- Service outage exceeding 7 consecutive days
- Fraudulent charges
- Billing errors on our part

7. User Content and Intellectual Property
7.1 Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to content you create or upload to the Service, including:
- Client information
- Invoice data and text
- Uploaded logos and images
- Custom fields and descriptions
7.2 License to Us
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service
- Generate PDFs containing your content
- Make backup copies for disaster recovery
This license terminates when you delete your content or account.
7.3 Our Intellectual Property
We own all rights to:
- The InvoiceSnapp platform, software, and code
- Invoice templates and designs
- Branding, logos, and trademarks
- Documentation and help materials
You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our invoice templates outside the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Resell or redistribute the Service
7.4 Prohibited Content
You may not use the Service to create or store:
- Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
- Content that infringes on third-party intellectual property
- Fraudulent or deceptive invoices
- Content containing malware or viruses
- Content that violates these Terms
8. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes. Prohibited uses include:
8.1 Fraud and Abuse
- Creating fake or fraudulent invoices
- Impersonating other businesses or individuals
- Using stolen credit cards or payment information
- Engaging in money laundering or financial fraud
8.2 Technical Abuse
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise the Service
- Using automated tools to scrape or harvest data
- Overloading systems with excessive requests
- Circumventing usage limits or security measures
8.3 Legal Violations
- Using the Service for tax evasion
- Creating invoices for illegal goods or services
- Violating export control laws
- Violating sanctions or embargoes
Violation Consequences:
If we determine you have violated these policies, we may:
- Suspend or terminate your account immediately
- Delete your data without warning
- Report violations to law enforcement
- Pursue legal action for damages
9. Third-Party Services
9.1 Stripe (Payment Processing)
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service (https://stripe.com/legal) and Privacy Policy (https://stripe.com/privacy). We do not store your credit card information.
9.2 Other Services
The Service may integrate with or reference third-party services. We are not responsible for:
- The availability or performance of third-party services
- The privacy practices of third-party services
- Any loss or damage resulting from third-party services
10. Disclaimers and Warranties
10.1 Service Provided "AS IS"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
10.2 No Professional Advice
InvoiceSnapp is a tool for creating invoices. We do NOT provide:
- Accounting advice or services
- Tax advice or tax calculation
- Legal advice
- Financial planning or advice
You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring your invoices comply with local tax laws
- Calculating and reporting taxes correctly
- Meeting legal invoicing requirements in your jurisdiction
- Maintaining proper business records
10.3 No Guarantee of Tax Compliance
We make no representations that invoices generated by the Service will comply with tax laws in your country or region. You are responsible for ensuring compliance.
10.4 PDF Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that:
- PDFs will be pixel-perfect across all devices
- Generated PDFs will be accepted by all recipients
- PDF formatting will meet all legal requirements
You are responsible for reviewing invoices before sending them to clients.
10.5 Uptime and Availability
While we target 99.5% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Server failures
- Network issues
- Force majeure events
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
11.1 No Liability for Indirect Damages
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Lost profits or revenue
- Loss of business opportunities
- Loss of data
- Cost of substitute services
- Damage to reputation
11.2 Liability Cap
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR CHF 100 (WHICHEVER IS GREATER).
11.3 User Responsibility
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of invoices you create
- Sending invoices to correct recipients
- Compliance with tax and legal requirements
- Backing up critical data
- Losses resulting from your actions or inactions
11.4 Third-Party Claims
We are not liable for claims arising from:
- Disputes with your clients
- Incorrect tax calculations
- Late or non-payment by your clients
- Errors in information you provide
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InvoiceSnapp, its operator, and any affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of any laws or third-party rights
- Content you create or upload
- Disputes with your clients
13. Termination
13.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through account settings.
13.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- Your account has been inactive for more than 24 months
- We are required to do so by law
- We decide to discontinue the Service
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ends immediately
- Your data enters a 30-day grace period (unless terminated for fraud)
- After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted
- You remain liable for any outstanding fees
- Provisions of these Terms that should survive (liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) continue to apply
13.4 Discontinuation of Service
We reserve the right to discontinue the Service at any time. If we discontinue:
- We will provide 30 days' notice via email
- You will have 30 days to export your data manually (upon request)
- Pro-rated refunds will NOT be provided
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, specifically the Canton of Zurich, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.2 Informal Resolution
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@invoicesnap.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
14.3 Jurisdiction
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
14.4 No Class Actions
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
14.5 Time Limit for Claims
Any claim must be filed within 1 year of the event giving rise to the claim. Claims filed after 1 year are permanently barred.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and InvoiceSnapp.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
15.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to another entity.
15.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, internet failures, or government actions.
15.6 Language
These Terms are written in English. Translations may be provided for convenience, but the English version shall prevail in case of any conflict.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date
- We will notify you via email for material changes
- Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance
- If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and delete your account
